It all started with a bunch of old mates who hadn't seen each other for what felt like decades. A BBQ was in order but more importantly, a need to demolish ungodly amounts of garlic bread together.
After working through their tenth loaf of the evening, they had an epiphany. "Mate," one said, mouth still full, "what if we combined the two greatest things in Australia, the sausage sizzle AND garlic bread?" The room went quiet. Then they whispered, "That's either genius or we've had too much garlic."
It was genius. They started experimenting, turning their spare time into R&D sessions. Garlic butter on the bread. Gourmet sausages. Quality ingredients. They weren't just making food, they were combining their two greatest passions: hanging out with their mates and perfecting the art of hiding the sausage, in garlic bread of course.
Fast forward a year, and the garlic dog, better known as the g'dog, was born. It was the perfect meal for any occasion - footy games, fundraisers, or just a casual arvo with ya mate. As the g-dog is naturally easily divisible (groms), it was perfect for the little grommets to snack on, or to share as hors d'oeuvres at a fancy shindig.
What started as old mates bonding over carbs and conversation became something bigger. Because the best businesses aren't just about the product, they're about the people, the laughs, and the garlic bread that brings everyone together.
